I created these two cards using Echo Park Paper stencils and distress inks.
I was contacted by Paper-Garden.ca and asked if I’d like to choose two Echo Park Paper stencils to review. The two I chose were Balloons and Ice Cream Cone. I had seen cards that used these stencils on Pinterest and really liked them, but the posts didn’t list their source.
I think the stencils are excellent. They’re sturdy and measure 6” x 6.” I put distress inks on the stencils to create these cards, but I can visualize using distress oxides, as well as different mediums such as texture paste, to achieve different looks. There are so many color variations that could be used, as well as just using sections of the stencil for different projects. The distress inks also rinsed off very easily when I had finished using the stencils. To sum it up, I think these stencils are sturdy, have a lot of creative possibilities, and are fun to use.
You can find the Ice Cream Cone and Balloons stencils, as well as the full selection, at:

The method I used to create both of these cards: I put strips of distress inks onto a non-stick craft sheet. (I didn’t spray any water on the distress inks.) I used finger sponge daubers to dab the distress inks onto the stencils. The daubers gave me more control when applying the distress inks versus the Ranger Mini-Ink Blending Tool that I normally use.
(Please Note: The size is 5-1/2″ x 8-1/4″for these two cards.)

~Angel Policy Information (if you choose to sell your creations made with Echo Park Paper products)
I couldn’t find an Angel Policy on the Echo Park Paper website, so I e-mailed the company. I got a very quick response from Kathi:
“The “Angel Policy” of Echo Park Paper grants limited permission to purchasers of Echo Park Paper products to create hand-made artwork for sale. Echo Park Paper limits the amount created to 200 or less of an item.
Echo Park Paper products may only be used in the creation of original, hand-made artwork to be sold by the creator. The creations may not be sold to other parties for subsequent resale.” (November 20, 2017)
I hope you’re having a wonderful and blessed new year!
