I created this card using Lavinia Stamps, Copics, distress inks, Stickles, and embossing powder.
To start the card, I made a mask for the Druid’s Inn and Fairy Bridge. I attached the masks to the watercolor paper, using removable tape, and positioned them in order to ink around them. I put a strip of Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink on the Glass Media Mat; spritzed some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist on it; and used a blending tool to apply it to the paper. I repeated this with the Wilted Violet Distress Ink.
I removed the masks and stamped the Druid’s Inn and Fairy Bridge using Memento Ink. I let the ink dry for a while, just to be sure, and then colored them with Copics. Next, I used Stickles to create the pond and then stamped the rest of the images using VersaFine Clair ink.
I applied some FlitterGlu in the areas where I wanted snow to be and sprinkled Holographic embossing powder on top. The pic doesn’t really show how much it sparkles! The Glu did a pretty good job of holding the embossing powder in place. I thought of using a heat gun on it but wasn’t sure if I would lose the sparkle, so decided not to.
I used a Gelly Roll pen to outline the fairy’s wings; a black Copic Multiliner to touch up a few spots on the card; and attached the paper to a black cardstock base. Oona’s winter wonderland was finished!
