I created this card using Lavinia Stamps and Colourcraft Brusho Crystal Colours.

My granddaughter has been interested in dragons ever since she was little. She received yet another dragon-themed card for her birthday this year from me. Even though she’s grown, she’ll aways be that little girl in my heart who loves dragons.
To begin the background for the card, I sprinkled Gamboge and Rose Red Brusho crystals over the surface of the watercolor paper. I spritzed the water upwards, then lifted and tilted the paper so the Brusho and water ran towards the bottom of the paper.
Once it was dry, I stamped the images and sentiment with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink; then attached the Brusho watercolor paper to the purple cardstock base using Scor-Tape.
Materials Used:
- Strathmore Watercolor Paper. Cold Press, 140 lb.
- Purple, Smooth Cardstock (Hobby Lobby)
- Lavinia Stamps: Mideela, Forest Scene, and Heartfelt Verses (Tracey Lavinia Dutton is the artist of the Lavinia Stamps.)
- Colourcraft Brusho Crystal Colours: Gamboge and Rose Red
- Tim Holtz Stamp Platform
- VersaFine Clair Ink, Nocturne
- Ranger Mister
- Three-sided box to prevent Brusho from getting everywhere (I use one that I picked up at Costco.)
- Scor-Tape: 1/4”
